Therapy to Support Balanced Behaviors and Action-Based Change
If you have landed on this page, your neurodivergent adolescent, teen, or young adult may be struggling, but we are glad you are here taking some time to learn a bit more about how we can be of support. Our passion is helping individuals get unstuck and moving forward with healthy and balanced behaviors. You might be wondering what are balanced behaviors? Balanced behaviors in our work tend to include: emotional regulation skills, flexibility, impulse control, healthy coping skills, mindfulness, living according to your values, engaging in appropriate life skills, communication skills and self care. These are the sorts of things we will work on and process together in our sessions. Sessions will be positive, fun, action oriented, strengths-based and solutions-focused.

If you have an adolescent, teen or young adult that has been diagnosed with a mental health disorder, developmental disability, or a learning disability and you are all struggling, you are not alone and we can help. Dr. Gurash has 20 plus years experience working with a variety of needs and in different settings to support psychological well being. We wholeheartedly believe that with the right support in place, regardless of needs, all individuals can succeed. We have seen countless amounts of times how through the therapy process, powerful shifts and learning can occur helping families begin to thrive again.
Spectrum Connections Therapy is passionate about partnering with parents to help support your adolescent or teens needs so we can work through any obstacles you are facing and help you get unstuck while learning new healthy ways to navigate life’s challenges. As a provider with a background in special education, Dr. Gurash also enjoys joining with families to collaborate with other professionals (OT’s, SLP’s, Learning Specialists, School Psychologists) to navigate school needs such as IEP’s, 504’s. and transition plans.
